How It Works:
The Steps:
01. A consultation (usually online) - It's time to get creative and have some fun. This is where we get to the heart of your brand and your vision. You may already have a clear idea of what you are looking for. If you don't, that doesn't matter, I can guide you through this process. This is a really exciting stage as we work out your vision and plan the shoot.

02. The Shoot - You may be a little nervous, but that will quickly pass. You are the expert at what you do and this will quickly take over. So time to enjoy your session!

03. Delivering Your Photos - After the shoot, I will carefully edit your photos. Each image is carefully edited to work with your brand design and you can stand out with stunning images that resonate with your audience. You will have built a unique brand identity that attract clients and will be proud of your professional image and story.

Here are a few things to think about that:

What is your brand?

Do you know what your brand is about? What makes your brand different from your competitors?

You may already have a clear idea about your brand identity, but if you don't have a good think about what your brand represents and who you are marketing to. I shall send you a questionnaire to help you with this and help me to understand what is unique about your company and how we can bring this out in the imagery for your business.

Creating A Shot List

When planning for a branding photo shoot it is really helpful to have a shot list. This ensures that we can get all the important images that you need for your various different branding materials, whether website, social media imagery or printed materials. It is also helpful to know if any images need to be in landscape or portrait or if we need to allow space for copy.

Other Practical Things To Consider:

Location
The location for your shoot really sets the right mood for your images. Is your business within a modern, corporate environment? Do you work from home? Or are you out and about? We shall discuss the options that will work best for your session and, depending upon which branding package you choose we may be able to do either just a couple of places or a variety of different locations.

Props

There may be some props that will definitely be required during the photo shoot, but there are also some others that will be good to have to help give the right look to your images, such as a beautiful vase of fresh flowers. Often people don't know what to do with their hands when being photographed, and holding something, like a cup of tea, can really help.

Clothing

What to wear can often be something that people get very worried about. You need to feel comfortable in what you are wearing, but it is also often important to look professional and to be wearing an outfit that is suitable for your business - that may be a suit, or it may be more casual. But even if it is casual, make sure that your clothes are always clean and ironed. Whatever your business, creases never look good. I will discuss with you before the shoot what might work best for your brand. It is also good to have two or three options to hand. This not only means that you have another option if we don't feel that one works, but also it is good to change into a different outfit to give a good variety for your set of images.

It is also well worth considering getting a fresh haircut and maybe a manicure before your session. These little details can easily be forgotten, but they can really make the difference to looking professional in your photos.
